Watch the dance of the Boston Dynamic Robot Family, as if 2020 is a year of harvest

With a name like Atlas, you wouldn’t think that Boston Dynamics’ biped robot would be the lightest specimen on earth. But since we have seen that it has a knack for parkour, now you can add dance to its talent list. In the latest viral video, we saw Atlas and the entire Boston Dynamics series, including the dog-like Spot and box-stacked Handle, dancing with “Do You Love Me” in The Contours. As a 6-foot-2 man, I can only say that I am jealous, that any tall man can move with such high mobility and grace.

This is not the first time we have seen a Boston Dynamics robot rotate its limbs to classic tones. As early as 2018, the then SoftBank subsidiary shared a video of Spot dancing to “Uptown Funk”. Watching these two clips continuously will highlight how much the company’s robots have developed in just two years. The dance we saw Spot performed in 2018 was impressive, but it couldn’t dance toe like it did in 2020.
