The fierce debate at Disney World began when a person refused to take a temperature measurement, and ended in his being escorted out of the park two months ago and arrested by representatives of Orange County.
This week, the authorities released a body camera video that captured the incident. Among them, 47-year-old Kelly Sills of Baton Rouge defended that the representative arrested him after he refused to take temperature. The brief fever check is part of the COVID-19 screening at Orlando theme parks.
Sills, a guest at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, told a representative outside the Boathouse restaurant that he was not at fault because he paid $1
Hills said: “If I take $15,000 from you, I won’t be able to drive you out…. Take me into 15 big prisons, I’m fine… In front of my children, in Disneyland .”
When the delegates took him to the team’s car in handcuffs, Sears changed his mind and asked if it was too late to check his temperature.
An agent said in the video: “Sir, they will do this in prison.”
Several videos about Hills’s encounter with the Orange County representative and his arrest were sent to the spokesperson. The video below has only been condensed into a partial arrest.
