The Nationals and Braves will make up for the postponed match due to the coronavirus outbreak in Washington as part of Wednesday’s doubles match.
On Monday, when the national team players were training in the national park, Major League Baseball announced the change.
Four players in the national team tested positive for COVID-19, and seven more players were quarantined after contacts determined that they might be exposed.
The Nationals plan to add infielder Luis Garcia, outfielder Yadir Hernandez, receiver Tres Barrera, right-hander Kyle McGovern and left-hander to their 26 players. The lineup is based on Tuesday’s opener against the Brave.
According to multiple reports, star shortstop Trey Turner, first baseman Josh Bell and catcher Young Gomez were not in Monday’s physical exercise.
