Vaccination in Texas: An 8-year-old boy in Dallas County misused the COVID vaccine

Officials from the Texas Fire Department admitted that an 8-year-old boy had recently been vaccinated by mistake.

A huge mistake occurred at the COVID-19 vaccine site in the Prairie.

Dallas County requires people to register online before being vaccinated-and indicate their date of birth on the registration form.

The Dallas County judge wrote in a statement that the human error of a third party overseeing the county’s vaccination registration form was the root cause of the error.

Jenkins said the county’s information technology department is working with the third-party company to ensure that this does not happen again.

As of March 29, people 16 years and older in Texas are eligible to receive the vaccine in Texas.

However, no one under this age has been approved.
