WASHINGTON – The United States has asked Western Hemisphere countries on Monday to suspend Venezuela from the 35-nation Organization of American States.

"To uphold democracy and freedom, we call on the members of the OAS to Expose Venezuela from the Organization of American States, "said Pence first US Vice President, since 1994 at the group since Al Gore.
Venezuela, which launched a two-year trial in April 2017 to abandon Washington-based OAS, sent no official to hear Pence's speech and did not respond immediately
Pence asked Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to hold the presidential election on 20 May May, which he called "no more than fraud and deception". Pence also urged Maduro to "open Venezuela for international aid and not to do it."
Venezuela has refused to allow for international aid, claiming that this would result in foreign intervention. The South American nation also denies that there is a continuing humanitarian crisis, even though thousands of Venezuelans have fled to other countries in the region.
Pence announced during the speech that the Trump administration had appointed a former Venezuelan secret service official to his adviser and 20 companies under their control as a drug trafficker.
The US Department of Treasury Department of International Investment said Pedro Luis Martin Olivares was indicted in 2015 by a grand jury in Florida for intentional conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance to the United States and possession with the intention of obtaining a controlled substance Board a plane registered in the United States.
In addition, OFAC imposed sanctions against Walter Alexander Del Nogal Marquez and Mario Antonio Rodriguez Espinoza for the assistance of Martin and 20 companies in Venezuela and Panama who belong to or are controlled by these three persons.

These sanctioned Monday are in addition to the dozens of current and former Venezuelan officials who have already targeted the US.
