This lease transaction makes the 2021 TLX almost much cheaper than the 2021 Lexus IS 300. The lease for the Lexus IS 300 is 36 months at US$339 per month and requires a payment of US$3,999 at the time of signing. Acura discounts will be available in the United States until January 4, 2021.
However, TLX lags behind IS in providing financing. Acura’s financial position is 1.9% per annum for 60 months and can be combined with the brand’s $1,000 loyalty bonus. In contrast, Lexus provides IS with a 60-month 0% annual interest rate transaction and a bonus of $1,500 for existing customers.
All currently available 2021 Acura TLX models are equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that can produce 272 hp at 6,500 rpm and 280 lb-ft (379 Nm) between 1,600 rpm and 4,500 rpm Torque. Connected to the engine is a 10-speed automatic transmission that drives the front wheels. However, if customers want to transmit power through four wheels, they can choose the latest generation of SH-AWD systems from automakers with torque vectoring capabilities.
Next spring, the top-of-the-line TLX Model S will be used with the series, a new turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 rated at 355 hp and 354 lb-ft (480 Nm). This version will be sold exclusively with a 10-speed automatic transmission and SH-AWD system.
