Type 2 diabetes reveals one of two important characteristics of a person’s body: their pancreas cannot produce enough insulin, or the cells are resistant to the insulin it produces. Both have the same detrimental effect-blood sugar levels can spread excessively in the body, thereby destroying blood vessels. Insulin is a hormone that can regulate blood sugar, so it is very important to find ways to improve insulin secretion and response.

Type 2 diabetes-what to look for
Because type 2 diabetes is often subtle or nonexistent at the initial stage, it is usually not detected.
If you experience symptoms, the most common ones include:
- Urinate more than usual, especially at night
- Always feel thirsty
- feeling very tired
- Lose weight without trying
- Itching of the penis or vagina, or repeated thrush
- The wound will take longer to heal
- Blurred vision
