WASHINGTON (Reuters)-Campaign officials said on Wednesday that Brad Parscale, the former campaign manager of US President Donald Trump, had resigned from his senior campaign post after being arrested at his home in Florida.
Parscale was detained by police at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for fear that they might hurt themselves after receiving a report from his wife Candice.
Parscale was the campaign manager of Trump̵
He was transferred to the digital work of the campaign, producing ads designed to help Trump before the November 3 election.
In a statement to Politico, Parscale said that he is moving away from reelection work and is seeking help for what he calls “overwhelming pressure.”
