Raleigh, North Carolina -A Raleigh woman is sharing with other North Carolina people the riots that took place earlier this week. These rioters damaged the US Capitol.
Donna Williams, the chairwoman of the Republican Party in Wake County, claimed that supporters of President Donald Trump were not responsible for the attack.
She described her experience in a letter to other members of the party. She said she and hundreds of other Wake County Republicans went to Washington to show support for the president and thank him for his service.
Williams said: “To end the way it works, it̵
She traveled with hundreds of other Republicans and participated in Trump’s “Save America March” rally.
Williams said: “It was an era of prayer and patriotism. There were many speakers.”
Then, when the rioters violated the regulations of the Capitol, the incident turned into a violent incident, leading to the blockade of the building.
Williams wrote in the letter: “I don’t believe that patriotic Republicans will cause riots. I have personally observed what seems to be a professional agitator inciting crowd violence.”
She said on Saturday: “I don’t know 100% because I don’t know everyone there.”
There is no evidence that anyone paid to participate in the competition.
Lawyer and Republican Deb Newton accused President Trump of urging some of his demonstrators to march to the ground of the Capitol to protest the vote count at the Election College.
She said: “This is obviously incitement. This is shocking.”
Newton said that Williams’ letter failed to explain who was responsible for the violation.
She added: “Whether you are a Democrat, a Republican, a liberal or a nonpartisan, every American needs to give up this activity.”
Williams said in a letter to members that, in order to heal, it is important to divert attention from the whole country and focus on Wake County.
