President Donald Trump’s hotel in Washington, DC will make a fortune on election day.

Trump’s campaign is scheduled to hold a party at the Trump International Hotel on election night. According to the hotel’s website, 263 rooms were sold out that night. When CNBC arrived at the hotel on Friday morning, a reservation specialist confirmed that there were no rooms available that night.

Although employees were unable to determine how many rooms were needed, the prices for the days before and after the night provided some clues. On Friday and Saturday, the nightly price of a standard room will exceed $1

,000, while the price of more expensive suites will be less than $2,000. In the days immediately after November 4, the price started at just over $635.

It is not clear whether the president himself will participate in the hotel’s celebrations. He said on Friday that he has not yet decided where to spend the evening and suggested that the event could be transferred to the White House.

Despite this, Trump’s campaign prompted donors to provide some cash and win the opportunity to come to the hotel on election night.

A recent email to supporters said: “I have arranged with my team one of my best supporters to fly to Washington, D.C., to join Trump at the election night party at my favorite hotel. team.”

Critics questioned how the hotel will host gatherings given the coronavirus pandemic and Washington’s restrictions on gatherings.

The Republican National Committee and the Trump Organization did not respond to requests for comment on the Trump campaign currently managed by the president’s eldest son.

Although it is not clear how much the Trump campaign itself paid for this event, the president’s political organization and allies have boosted the commander of the Emirates Hotel property.

From mid-August to early October, the Trump campaign spent nearly $210,000 for the entire “Trump Hotel Collection” described in the Federal Election Commission documents.

According to data from the Political Center of Non-Party Response, between Trump’s campaign and the joint fundraising committee between him and RNC, Trump’s property has earned more than $17 million since he ran for president in 2016.

CRP data shows that in August, RNC paid at least US$200,000 to purchase space in Trump’s Washington hotel.

However, it is not just Trump’s campaign that has made his hotel business huge profits.

A report by the Washington Citizens’ Responsibility and Ethical Citizenship Organization shows that since Trump took office, special interest groups may have spent more than $13 million on Trump’s business. CREW’s estimates show that Trump’s residence has hosted more than 130 special events related to interests. CREW said these industries range from private prison contractors to payday lenders.
