We have seen wind gusts of 30-50 mph in parts of Marion, Cranton, Columbia and Rockford. We still believe that in the next few hours, strong winds of up to 60 mph may be blown south along the southern part of I-20/59. The biggest concern for strong and destructive winds is Tuscaloosa, Bibb, Chilton, Shelby, Coosa, Tallapoosa ), Talladega, Calhoun, Cleburne, Randolph and Chambers counties. Trees may fall, and power outages are likely to occur. Make sure to continue charging electronic devices. If your room is located outside by a big tree, I encourage people to move to the other side of the house to prevent the tree from falling.
