“It will haunt your dreams”: Tom Hanks reveals the Australian creature he was absolutely shocked when filming Elvis in Queensland
Tom Hanks revealed an Australian creature he absolutely fears.
The 64-year-old American actor and filmmaker said in an interview with The Evening Show on Sunday that the beach worms made him feel like they looked like things the Mandalorian must escape from.
After being interrogated by the owner, Stephen Colbert, he named the worm “the scariest animal”
“It will be a worm living on the beaches of Australia. I will send you a picture. This will haunt your dreams,” Tom said.
“They are these things, they come out, they have these heads, if you look at them up close, they do look like the things that the Mandalorian must escape from Tatooine.
According to the Australian Museum, beach worms can be found on the eastern and southeast coasts of Australia.
They can grow up to 300 cm long and are found on sandy beaches with low water levels.
