Their distance from the host star is much shorter than the relationship between the earth and the sun. One planet needs only 9.3 days to complete its orbit, while the other planet needs 21.8 days to complete a complete journey. If these planets revolve around our sun, they will be burned to death and lose their lives, but because the red dwarf stars are much weaker than our sun, the habitable area around these stars is very different. If Gliese 887 is as active as our sun, then a strong stellar wind (outflow material that may erode the planet’s atmosphere) is likely to clear the planet’s atmosphere.
