listen to music Is one of yours Amazon EchoDaily work, as well as sharing the weather and time of day. But you may have noticed that Alexa’s performance on all music services is not ideal. For example, the Amazon Echo app will not let YouTube Music or Google Play Music subscribers listen Playlists on your Amazon Echo. However, you can still connect your iPhone (Apple sells for $699) Or connect your Android phone to your Echo speaker to listen to any music streaming service of your choice. This is how to do it.

First, you need to make sure that Bluetooth on your phone is turned on before you can start. After opening, say “Alexa, pair”. Then, you will see the Echo device displayed in the Bluetooth device list of the phone. Tap the echo you want to connect to-for example, Katie’s echo point (Amazon sells for $40). After connecting, Alexa will say “Now connected to Katie’s iPhone”.

When you’re ready to listen to music through services like Google Play Music, or just want to play YouTube audio on your speakers, open the app and choose what you want to listen to. Then, the audio will start streaming from your Echo speaker. If you cannot hear music, make sure you have turned up the volume of your phone (and Echo of course).

To disconnect from the speaker, you can turn off Bluetooth on your phone, disconnect from Echo in Bluetooth settings, or say “Alexa, disconnect.” Alexa will say “Now disconnected from Katie’s iPhone” to confirm that it is disconnected. That’s it! Now, even if Amazon does not support it, you can listen to music from any streaming service.
