The last part of Microsoft’s Halo Infinite behind-the-scenes video series has been released, and it’s great to hear about the game’s audio and sound.
The video shows a cute little pug named Buddy whose owner is the program manager of developer 343 Industries. The good boy enters the recording studio, where he cuts snacks and sc feet, all of which are captured and used as sound in the next generation of Halo games.
Buddy is actually the second pug to record sound into Halo Infinite. In September 2019, 343 showed the recording process of a cute little pug Gyoza.
For my money, it sounds like Gyoza and Buddy will provide some kind of alien in Halo Infinite, but until the release of Halo Infinite in the second half of this year, we are not sure.
343 said: “We hope you have enjoyed the behind-the-scenes footage with our audio team in the past year. We can’t wait to see and hear more about Halo Infinite in the coming months. “
The previous installments of the series showed various weapon sounds and vehicle noise in Halo Infinite. Other videos focused on the huge explosion of 343 in the desert.
Halo Infinite will show off properly at the Xbox 20/20 event in July, which is important because Microsoft does not show any gameplay from the title. The movie trailer is a trailer released in June 2019, but this is all we have seen so far. “Halo Unlimited” is the release title of the Xbox Series X, and is the first mainline new halo game since “Halo 5: Guardian” in 2015.
In addition to Xbox Series X, Halo Infinite will be released on regular Xbox One and PC.
