Thermaltake announced a new compact chassis based on its monolithic Tower 900 chassis. The new Tower 100 includes support for mini-ITX size motherboards, has sufficient heat dissipation capacity, and supports larger graphics cards, such as NVIDIA RTX 3080.
The Thermaltake Tower 100 includes filter ventilation from top to bottom with 4mm thick tempered glass side panels, which eliminates the need for style and performance. It includes a tilted top-mounted I/O panel that includes support for USB 3.2 G2 Type-C, dual USB 3.0 Type-A and front panel audio input.
According to Thermaltake, these cases are designed for optimal airflow and include two 120 mm 1000 RPM cooling fans, one pre-installed on the top and the other pre-installed on the bottom. It supports additional fans, including one 120/140mm on the top, 120/140mm above the PSU cover, and one 120/140mm on the back. Users can also install 120mm AIO CPU coolers on the top with a maximum spacing of 190mm CPU coolers. It also has the ability to install a graphics card with a maximum length of 330 mm, which is a good choice for cards such as the NVIDIA RTX 3080, but it is a bit short for the top-spec RTX 3090.
Thermaltake Tower 100 will be available in two colors, black and subtle Snow Edition. Thermaltake noted that the Tower 100 mini-ITX chassis will include a 3-year limited warranty and will be released in the United States and Canada in late January.
