The arrest occurred a week ago. Eberly and her husband Ryan were about to celebrate their wedding anniversary on Hilton Head when she was knocked out of the passenger door of the car.
When her husband accidentally cut off another motorist, the couple was driving on Interstate 95 in Lamberton.
“I didn’t see him spinning around me, I accidentally pushed him onto my shoulder. As soon as I was able, I gave him space to make room for the highway.” Ryan told the news station WGAL.
But Freud allegedly then lifted them up, rolled down the window, and fired several shots at the vehicle.
“I saw in the mirror that he was driving past us, shot to the right and our car was hit. My wife yelled my name. I asked if she was hit, and she said “yes”,” Ryan said.

In addition to murder, Freud was also accused of putting weapons into occupied property.
Inspector Bernice Wilkins said in a statement: “No one should be murdered when driving on our country’s highways, regardless of the circumstances.”
Authorities say Freud is currently being held at the Robertson County Detention Center.
