Oppo mocked a new wireless charging solution that can be used when the phone is up to 10 cm (3.9 inches) away from the charging pad. The company demonstrated its wireless air charging technology in a 30-second clip on its Weibo page, synchronized with Shanghai MWC. The clip shows the Oppo X 2021 rollable concept phone released in November, which can be charged above the tablet even if it is tilted. Oppo said the technology provides charging speeds of up to 7.5W.

The Chinese manufacturer announced a true wireless air charging solution after the latest products released by Xiaomi and Motorola earlier this year. As early as January, Xiaomi announced Mi Air Charge Technology, which stated that it can charge multiple devices with a power of 5W “within a radius of a few meters.”
