The Phillies acquire left-handed reliever Jose Alvarado in a three-team deal

Dave Dombrowski serves as president of Phillies’ baseball business for the first time.

Dombrowski, who promised to fill the vacancy in the worst bullpen for college students in 2020, has acquired the hard-handed left-hand rescuer Jose Al from the Tampa Bay Rays. Valado (Jose Alvarado), this transaction involves three teams.

The Phillies sent left-handed Garrett Cleavinger to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Alvarado, 25, weighs 6-2 pounds and weighs 245 pounds. His electric fastball reached the highest level of the 90s, but control has been an issue throughout his career. In 2018, Alvarado pitched 70 games for Tampa Bay, with an ERA of 2.39 and more than 1

1 shots per 9 innings. In the past two seasons, he has struggled due to injuries, including a round of shoulder inflammation, which allowed him to play in only nine regular season games in 2020. He played twice in the playoffs in Tampa Bay.

Alvarado has some experience in ending the game and can play this role. He is eligible for salary arbitration.
