The 2021 National Football League schedule will not help the Patriots in any way.
ESPN’s Seth Walder said that New England is the only NFL team that has to face three opponents goodbye, and the Patriots will have 15 days less net rest days than their opponents.
The Patriots also had their own goodbye at the end of the season. The New England team is one of the four teams to see each other in Week 14. The team usually hopes to schedule their goodbye near the middle of the season.
Bill Belichick is unlikely to complain publicly about the Patriots’ schedule, because he always tells the players to do a good job, and their job is not to worry about the schedule. But there is no doubt that the Patriots’ timetable poses a real challenge for them.
