Team owner Bob Menery told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Saturday that former NFL receiver Josh Gordon will return as a member of Zappers. Go to the start-up Fan Controlled Football League (Fan Controlled Football League) to participate in this sport.
Gordon will join former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel (Johnny Manziel).
The league started the game this month, featuring 7 vs. 7 matches. Fans set up a roster, played matches and interacted under the fusion of traditional and e-sports environments.
Gordon (Nordon) took office and left the NFL career last month when he became a member of the Seattle Seahawks (Seahawks) encountered another obstacle, when he was suspended indefinitely after the league cancelled his conditional reinstatement.
An NFL spokesperson told ESPN at the time that the decision originated from 29-year-old Gordon and violated his conditional reinstatement under the league’s drug abuse policy. The alliance did not provide other details.
The league suspended Gordon indefinitely in December 2019 for violating its policies on substance abuse and performance enhancing substances. According to ESPN statistics and information research, this is Gordon’s sixth suspension since the 2013 season and his fifth suspension due to some form of drug abuse.
Gordon was conditionally restored by the National Football League in December and is preparing to practice with the Seahawks in the final two weeks of the regular season. Coach Pete Carroll said at the time that he had the opportunity to play Week 16 with the Los Angeles Rams. But in the same week, the National Football League (NFL) included him on the commissioner’s exemption list.
Before the start of last season, Gordon signed a one-year contract with the Seahawks. In 63 NFL games, he has 247 catches, 4.252 yards and 20 touchdowns. After playing with Baylor in Utah, Cleveland Browns selected him in the second round of the 2012 NFL Supplementary Trial.
The FCF team is working on a six-week schedule for the game to be broadcast live on Twitch from the league rental agency in Atlanta. The game lasts about one hour, the field is 50 x 35 yards, and the finish area is 10 yards.
Players have FBS and FCS university-level backgrounds, as well as CFL, XFL and indoor football leagues, including Manziel.
Before the FCF, the 28-year-old Manziel last participated in the American Football League in April 2019. Since the Browns released him in 2015, he has also participated in the Spring League and CFL. Manzier and Gordon are Cleveland’s teammates.
