Google has notified US users that using the old Google Pay app on Android, iOS and the web, they will need to move to the new app to continue. The original version will lose this feature on April 5th and will have access to recent events and transactions. Google has released a completely revised new application.
This change currently only affects users in the United States, as Google has not yet promoted the latest applications to other regions. People in other places can continue to use the original app for now.
It appears that users of the old app can still access their digital wallets, including payment cards.As 9to5 Google Please note that this version may still be useful in certain situations. You can only use the new Google Pay app on one device at a time.
If you still have funds in your Google Pay account after April 5th, you can only access it through the new app (still in Early Access). Otherwise, Google’s support team can manually transfer the money to your bank account.
