The Mumbai High Court today filed an accusation against Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut for remarks against actor Kangana Ranaut earlier this month-and the two are distressed that she compares Mumbai with PoK-demanding to know whether this is suitable for MPs’ actions.
The judges of the Chamber of Justice SJ Kathawalla and Justice RI Chagla spoke a few harsh words to members of Raja Sabha, a senior figure in Sena and a spokesperson for the party.
“We also don’t agree with what the petitioner said. But is this the way to deal with her? You are the leader. We are proud to be Maharashtra… But is this a way of coping? You Must show grace “You cannot use this language. “The court said.
The judge added: “We are all Maharashtras and are proud to be Maharashtras, but we must show grace. This is not the way.”
Raut’s lawyer was severely condemned. He said that “the use of the language could have been avoided” but seemed to insist that the statement itself was provoked by “dishonest” petitioners.
At today’s hearing, Mr. Rattle also filed an affidavit through his lawyer denying that he had threatened Ms. Ranate. This comment was “different from what the petitioner alleged.”
The court stated unwaveringly that the affidavit means that Mr. Rattle at least accepted what he had been talking about the actor. The Sena leader’s lawyer said at an earlier hearing that her client did not mention Ms. Ranaut at all.
The news agency PTI quoted the lawyer as saying: “He shouldn’t have said…but there was no threatening information. He only said that the petitioner was very dishonest. That was after the petitioner said that Maharashtra was not safe. .”
After the 33-year-old actor compared Mumbai with PoK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir), Mr. Rat trapped Ms. Ranaut in an outrage and was caught by camera.
So far, he has not apologized for this, but because his comments have caused anger, Mr. Rattle admitted that his choice of wording may be better.
He told NDTV: “I may have made a mistake.”
He added: “However, Conana also made these mistakes. We have watched it several times.” This is obviously Ms. Ranat’s comment about feeling unsafe in Mumbai.
Yesterday, a recording of Mr. Rattle’s comment was played in court. Due to the pandemic, this is being heard through a video conference.
The quarrel between the ruling Shiv Sena (Shiv Sena) and Kangana Ranaut (Kangana Ranaut) in Maharashtra State is on the actor’s remarks about the Mumbai police investigation into the death penalty case of Sushant Singh Rajput After the outbreak. Ms. Ranout criticized the police for handling the case, saying she felt unsafe in the city.
Sena lashed out and asked her to leave. At that time, Ms. Ranat wanted to know “Why Mumbai looks like PoK”.
In the escalating exchanges between the two parties, the Mumbai municipal authority demolished Ms. Ranat’s office in the luxurious residential area of Pali Hills on the grounds of 14 “violations”.
Ms. Ranaut was granted the right to suspend the demolition and filed a compensation claim of Rs 20 crore in an amendment petition for the same case earlier this month. She stated in the revised petition that the demolition was a direct result of her comments to the Maharashtra state government.
Mr. Lauter has become a respondent to the petition against demolition.
The court is currently conducting a final hearing on the petition, but it has adjourned the hearing until October 5.
