Authorities are looking for information about pipeline bombs found near the headquarters of the Republican National Committee and the Democratic National Committee on Wednesday afternoon. The FBI will provide $50,000 in intelligence to “investigate the location, arrest and conviction of those responsible.”
The agency posted through social media a photo of a person who appeared to be wearing a gray hooded jacket, black gloves and black pants, with one hand grasping an object. The FBI did not say whether the person in the photo was considered a suspect in the investigation.
According to the FBI, “multiple law enforcement agencies received reports of explosives at around 1 p.m.,” around the time Trump supporters began to violate the ground blockade, the riots in the Capitol began to escalate.They reacted at the peak of the offense and were therefore stretched very thin.
Some Trump supporters managed to enter the Capitol at around 2 pm, leaving the Senate and House of Representatives in trouble because the building was locked. After the violence, a curfew was imposed in Washington, DC, and nearly 70 people were arrested.
Authorities are searching for thugs who ransacked the Capitol in airports and hotels across the city. The FBI said it has received more than 4,000 prompts on its website.Crimes related to violence.
