A faithful dog has been waiting for several days in a hospital in Turkey, and the hospital is treating its sick owner.
On January 14, the pet Boncuk (meaning bead) followed an ambulance to transport her owner Cemal Senturk to the hospital in Trabzon, the Black Sea. The private news agency DHA reported that she subsequently visited the facility every day.
A hospital security guard, Muhammet Akdeniz, told the DHA: “She comes around 9am every morning and waits until night falls. She will not go in.
“When the door opened, she poked her head inside.”
On Wednesday, when Boncock was pushed into a wheelchair, he was finally reunited with Senturk. “She’s very used to me. I miss her all the time,” he told DHA.
Senturk was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday and returned home with Boncuk.
