Quebec-A Canadian couple believes that there is a loophole in their curfew rules, which is to allow the wife to “walk” the husband while wearing a belt.
On Saturday, Canadian officials started a new curfew from 8pm to 5am due to the recent surge in COVID-19. Quebec police saw the couple walking in Sherbrooke at around 9:00 pm local time, about an hour before the curfew began.
When questioned by the police, the couple said that the rule they followed was to allow people to break the curfew and bring pets near their homes. BBC report.
Unfortunately, the couple did not have any excuses and fined them both over $1
According to the report, the Quebec police issued 750 tickets for violations of the curfew on the first weekend of entry into force.
