Tesla uses three months of free “full self-driving” to promote year-end sales

• Navigate on the autopilot: automatically drive into the ramp from the highway ramp, including turning lanes and speeding cars.

• Automatic lane change: Automatic lane change when driving on the highway.

• Automatic parking: parallel and vertical spaces.

• Call: The car you parked will find you anywhere in the parking lot. true.

• Traffic signal and stop sign control: assist parking at the intersection of traffic control.

Musk recently stated that the subscription package will be available early next year, but the price of permanently adding this technology has varied in the past few months. Now, as Tesla strives to achieve record delivery goals by the end of the year, this has become an incentive.

However, not everyone is satisfied with this proposal, especially because of how Tesla advertises its autopilot “advanced safety and convenience”

; and “self-driving” technology. As the Tesla website points out in a smaller print edition: “The currently enabled features require the active supervision of the driver and do not make the car self-driving.”

NTSB member Jennifer Homendy pointed out the difference in a series of tweets, saying that “fully autonomous driving” means that the vehicle can drive itself immediately without the driver’s input. This is not true. There should be safeguards to prevent such deceptive claims. “
