It̵

7;s time to announce 2020 Clean technology Best car of the year. This time the winner is certain, because it is generally believed that it will become the world’s best-selling electric car. In the United States and Canada-the only place it is currently being delivered-it is already the best-selling electric car.

Of course we are talking about Tesla ModelY.

The Y-type basically performs well in every category. It provides superhero-class performance, huge cargo space, Tesla’s unparalleled technology (infotainment and driver assistance technology), wide range, enough to meet the style of Hollywood stars, the best efficiency of all SUVs, and interior Compared to the previously popular Model 3 vehicles with improved interiors, and competitive prices.

I haven’t seen reviews that haven’t received Model Y praise, and I haven’t found an SUV that can perfectly match this electric car.

The Y-type sports car accelerates like a sports car. Although the cargo capacity has increased by about 50% (68 cubic feet and 43 cubic feet), the handling is almost the same as the Model 3, with the world’s largest and best infotainment screen (and if If you choose more advanced driver assistance options, Model 3’s has a market-leading autopilot and “fully autonomous driving”, and produces zero emissions.

In terms of acceleration from 0 to 60 mph, three different Model Y options are as follows:

  • 3.5 seconds-Y type performance
  • 4.8 seconds-Y type long distance
  • 5.3 seconds-Y-type standard range

In addition to a simple review, we also released a cost of ownership analysis of Model Y and competitors. This type of analysis is based on many assumptions, but using moderate assumptions to fully estimate that Model Y outperforms its inferior gasoline SUV competitors.

  2. Save $39,000 to $114,000 and drive the world’s best crossover Tesla Model Y

In general, we expect Model Y to perform well. I suspect it can easily sell more than one million cars per year. We will definitely pay close attention.

Clean technology Best car rule of the year

The one-year award period is the last two quarters of the previous year and the first two quarters of the award year. Therefore, to qualify for the 2020 Grand Prix, the vehicle must be launched in the second half of 2019 or the first half of 2020. To be eligible for the 2020 award, the vehicle must be on the market in the second half of 2019 or January. The first half of 2020.

We consider these awards for many factors, but the main factor is trying to determine which vehicle will have the greatest long-term positive impact on the world.
