7;s stock price rose 6% in after-hours trading, after the stock rose 0.2% in regular trading to close at $108.10. T-Mobile said it added 1.2 million net new customers for a total of 98.3 million. The company announced net income for the second quarter of 110 million US dollars, or 9 cents per share, compared to 939 million US dollars in the same period last year, or 1.09 US dollars per share. Revenue increased from 10.98 billion US dollars in the same period last year to 17.67 billion US dollars. On average, analysts surveyed by FactSet expect its quarterly earnings of 12 cents per share and revenue of $17.64 billion. T-Mobile completed the acquisition of Sprint in April. AT&T reported its earnings as early as July.
