Until recently, the Phoenix Suns had been surprised.
In a 128-97 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night, the Suns set a record for the most three-pointers in a single game.
Phoenix successfully made 46 attempts (52.2%) and converted 24 times.
The three-pointer offense is done by seven Suns players.
Those seven are Devin Booker (5), Cameron Payne (5), Mika Bridge (4), Chris Paul (4), Dario Saric (3) ), Frank Kaminsky (2) and Hay Crowder (1
Saturday’s game also marked Phoenix’s second consecutive game with at least 22 three-pointers, which was a previous franchise record.
But the three-pointer record was not the only feat to be defeated at night.
The Suns point guard Chris Paul also scored six assists, surpassing Oscar Robertson and becoming the sixth-highest player in NBA history.
