Summit County reports 110 new COVID-19 cases in one week



According to the county’s coronavirus webpage, Summit County reported 110 new cases of new coronavirus in a week.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of cases among residents has been 731. The county conducted a total of 5,893 inspections, an increase of 512 from Friday, October 23.

Students and faculty who are in close contact with the possible case will be quarantined for at least 10 days or until the case is cleared by medical release. Students and faculty members who are in close contact with the positive case will be quarantined for 14 days after initial contact.

Summit High School will not open face-to-face learning and extracurricular activities until November 9.
