St. Luke’s nurse dresses babies in the neonatal intensive care unit for Halloween

Cedar Rapids, Iowa (KCRG)-Halloween is approaching. Nurses from UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s Hospital dressed up these little “pumpkins” in the hospital’s intensive care unit during the holidays.

Knitwear was presented to St. Luke’s department store by Preemie Project. This is a volunteer organization that donates hats, stolen goods and blankets to St. Luke’s Hospital and other Iowa neonatal intensive care units throughout the year. The nurses of St. Luke also made souvenirs of ghost footprints for the parents of the babies, which is very interesting.
