“Soul” on Disney Plus: How to watch, release time, price, cast, trailer

Pixar’s “Soul” will not be released in theaters.

Instead, the anticipated movie will premiere on the Disney Plus streaming service in time for Christmas, Friday, December 25, 2020.

Like “Mulan” and “Hamilton”, this is another example of Disney film skipping traditional distribution rights and entering the small screen. Although “Soul”

; was originally scheduled to premiere in June, the COVID-19 pandemic caused several delays and eventually led to a Disney Plus-focused release.

However, unlike “Mulan”, “Soul” will not charge any premium subscription fees. Anyone who subscribes to Disney Plus can watch the movie as soon as it is released.

You need to understand this when watching “Soul Soul”.

You can sign up for Disney Plus on the website of the streaming service. The monthly fee is US$6.99, or US$69.99 per year. Similar to the Pixar movie “Onward” previously released on the platform, there is no additional cost to watch “Soul”.

Disney Plus subscribers can also have unlimited access to almost all Disney shows and movies, as well as most of Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic.

From December 25th (Friday) at 3 a.m. Eastern Time, Soul can be played on Disney Plus.

After the movie is released, unless the subscription is cancelled, the audience can watch the movie as many times as needed. Pixar Animation Studios is a subsidiary of Disney Studios, and all of its content is provided on-demand to anyone with a Disney Plus subscription.

Streaming media services are the only way to watch movies in the foreseeable future.

Jamie Foxx, Tina Fey, Questlove, Phylicia Rashad, Daveed Diggs and Angela Bassett will lead the voice of “Soul”.
