China accuses Boris Johnson of engaging in “baseless conjectures” because he suggested that the coronavirus may be spread by people with pangolin scales.
The Prime Minister speculated on the origin of COVID-19 in a speech at an environmental summit on Monday.
He said that this is “the product of the imbalance between humans and the natural world.”
The British Prime Minister praised the “sacrifice” as the reason for the new coronavirus lockdown: “We have no choice”
The Prime Minister continued: “Just like the first plague hit the Greeks, I seem to remember in the book Iliad that this is a zoonotic disease.
“It originated from bats or pangolins, because the belief in dementia believes that if you grind the pangolin scales, you will become more powerful in some way, or whatever people believe, it originated from the relationship between humans and nature. Collision, and we must stop it.”

But Zhao Lijian, a spokesman for the Beijing Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that “detailed” research is needed to discover the origin of the coronavirus outbreak.
