The Iowa Department of Public Health announced on Tuesday that the positive rate of COVID in several counties in northwestern Iowa has exceeded 15%. They include the Sioux, Lyon, Plymouth and O’Brien.
The agency also reported on Tuesday that the state has also conducted 508 COVID-19 positive tests, bringing the state’s total to 75,275.
Another 12 Iowans died from virus-related complications.
Outbreaks have been reported in 36 long-term care facilities in the state.
