The upcoming Samsung Galaxy J6 Android device has already been exposed to a series of leaks that speculate most of its specifications. In a recent leak, some high-end mid-range phone printers have surfaced, revealing it from all angles. The handset can be seen in three colors – black, gold and a blue tint – while the front remains black regardless of the color scheme. Consistent with earlier leaks, these newly released images also showcase the alleged Galaxy J6 with an infinity display, a novelty for the Galaxy J series. Given the thin bezels around the display, the fingerprint scanner is now under the rear view camera, as was the case for the Samsung Galaxy A8 for the first time.
Contrary to earlier rumors that the Galaxy J6 has a special Bixby button, these renderings show no physical buttons other than the usual power and volume buttons. A closer look reveals a 3.5mm headphone jack below, while a pair of SIM card slots are located on the left side of the phone below the volume keys. From the two tablets you can understand that the Android smartphone supports not only two SIM cards, but also a separate slot for a microSD card. The South Korean company is to position this smartphone under its recently announced Galaxy A6 product line. The leak indicates that the J6 provides a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED display in a HD + resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels. It comes with an Octa-core Samsung Exynos 7870 chipset with either 2GB, 3GB or 4GB of RAM, depending on the region in which the phone is available. These RAM options will be paired with either 32GB or 64GB of internal memory may be expandable. A 13 megapixel reversing camera comes with a front-facing 8-megapixel camera, both accompanied by a LED flash. Samsung is expected to equip the mid-ranger with Android 8.0 Oreo, while a 3,000mAh battery will also be part of the package.
Just yesterday, a few real-life hands-on images of the Galaxy J6 had a design very close to what this press renders. Allegedly, Samsung has already begun advertising its unannounced mid-range smartphone in certain Indian stores, suggesting a possible announcement in the near future.
