Brian, Texas (KBTX)-St. Joseph Health said it has received more doses of Moderna vaccine and will begin using it through a series of clinics later this week Patients in stage 1B.
Vaccine clinics can only be established by appointment. Hospital officials said patients must make an appointment and get confirmation to get Moderna vaccine. Those who have not made an appointment will be required to register online in order to receive vaccines distributed by Saint Joseph in the future.
In a press release on Sunday, the St. Joseph Health Service said: “As part of Phase 1
At St. Joseph Health Center, safety is our top priority, and we only manage safe and effective vaccines recommended by the FDA. Although there are always unknowns when a new vaccine will be developed-including the duration of protection, long-term safety, or how the vaccine may respond to viral mutations in the future-there is enough data to know that the vaccine provided is safe and should be encouraged. “
