Moscow-Russia stated that its fast-tracking coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V has achieved encouraging initial results, showing 92% efficacy against Covid-19. This is the Kremlin’s plan to protect its own populations in hard-hit areas and eliminate Westerners have doubts about its ability to produce vaccines quickly.
The results come from an interim analysis of an ongoing large-scale clinical trial conducted on 40,000 volunteers. The results showed that the participants, Russian Direct Investment, had no unexpected adverse side effects.
