In the first half of the Warriors game against the New York Knicks at Chase Center on Thursday night, Draymond Green shouldn’t be expelled.
Shortly after the Warriors lost 119-104 to the Knicks, shortly after coach Steve Kerr threw the referee to Green, the midfield referee told him.
After the game, he told reporters in a video call: “At halftime, Ben Taylor came out and told me that this was a mistake, and John Butler did not realize Draymond. Shout to his teammates.” “He thought he was yelling at him.”
With more than a minute left in the first half, the green color was ejected. James Wiseman (James Wiseman) made a mistake after an entry attempt and Green yelled to the rookie center when the Warriors re-defended. He is loud enough to hear screams on the NBC Sports Bay area broadcast.
Butler clearly believed that Green was yelling at him and committed a second technical foul on him, which caused him to automatically eject.
The Warriors did not perform particularly well, trailing the Knicks 63-57 in the half, but the loss to Green in the second half effectively ended any chance they had to win the game. He made a big difference to the team.
Kerr told reporters: “Obviously, Draymond is one of our best and most influential players, so it hurts us, but in any case our performance at this point is very bad.”
“You can’t build any rhythm at all. We committed four fouls in the first 55 seconds of the fourth quarter, so we are us, and I obviously must do better. We are not disciplined, we must find a way to prevent pollution .”

Andrew Wiggins, who lost 17 points and 9 rebounds, said the Warriors missed their vocal leader.
Wiggins told reporters: “It’s a big difference.” “Draymond is an important part of both sides of the team. Even on the bench, his presence is huge. Obviously, we are very much tonight. miss him.”
Once the league has reviewed the game’s film, it is likely to cancel the second technology Green evaluated. But this did not alleviate the tingling sensation he felt when he missed the second half of Thursday.
