The result is that your game is in trouble-it will not download, nor can it be cancelled and re-downloaded. In all cases of the IGN staff, the PS5 library will show that you own the game/app, but checking the PS5 store will show that you don’t own the game/app, requiring you to purchase it.A large number of reports are focused on hitting the cold war bug in the PS5 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops (it seems that the PS4 version is downloaded normally). Both IGN staff members, including me, encountered problems with the game. Another IGN staff member encountered the problem when trying to download Godfall, and we have seen reports of bugs that hit Demon̵
Activision recommended restoring the factory settings to those who were in contact with the “Call of Duty” issue, and it did solve the problem for IGN staff. Other users report that restoring factory settings can also solve the problem. Many people are reluctant to wipe their console and download the game again, but no other solution has been found at the time of writing.
Sony has not yet commented on this issue-we have contacted the company for comment.
