If you miss the chance to snap up a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X at the launch event this week, you will get another chance during Black Friday 2020 later this month. GameStop recently released a Black Friday ad and confirmed that its inventory is limited. PS5 and Series X and S are only available on Black Friday (November 27).
The advertisement shows that the GameStop store will open at 7 am local time on Black Friday, and all stores will open at least two PS5 and two Xbox Series X game consoles. The press release confirmed that the S series will also be available, but did not show or explicitly mention PS5 Digital, so it is not clear whether the system will be widely used. We recommend calling your local store for availability.
If you do decide to go to your local GameStop that Friday morning and try to ensure the safety of PS5 or Xbox Series X/S, there are several payment methods available. This includes the traditional layout, and you can keep the console in the store until it is fully paid off. The installment payment plan allows you to pay off the purchased products in four installments within six weeks; and own rent, which allows you to take the console home with the “minimum upfront cost”, and within 1 to 12 months Pay off within. You also reserve the option to return to it at any time.
