Sony has described in detail some of the games it will focus on during the E3 2018 press conference. Shawn Layden, chairman of Sony Interactive Entertainment's Worldwide Studios, said on the PlayStation blogcast that PlayStation will not have a traditional press conference and instead will show "exclusive looks and deep dives to four" upcoming titles: Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, Spider -Man and The Last of Us Part II.
In addition to these titles, advertisements with third-party publishing partners and games by indie developers will also be in the limelight. Asked about the possibility of hardware at E3, Layden confirmed that there will be no new hardware announcements from PlayStation at E3.
For Death Stranding, Layden said that Sony has a "new report for everyone on what's going on, this title," while Tsushima's ghost will also have a "deep dive." For Spider-Man, it'll be "one new drop ", which will probably be a new trailer. Eventually, The Last of Us Part 2 "will have a whole new scope and treatment to show progress in the game and give people a better understanding of where we're going with Part 2."
