Police blew up more than 50 people at a birthday party in an unlicensed hookah lounge in New Jersey



Patterson, New Jersey (WABC)-Police arrested more than 50 people in an unauthorized hookah lounge in New Jersey.

On Saturday night, people were crowded into Patterson’s “La Cafe” for a birthday party.

Representatives of the New York City Sheriff closed an illegal club in Queens on Sunday.

The invitation letter instructed people to wear masks, but officials said no one was wearing masks.

The police accused the owner of locking the door and trying to sneak alcohol from the back row.

The police seized 8 hookahs and various hookah accessories as well as bottles of wine and card holders in the premises.

Officials reported that there were no fire alarms in the lounge.
