Signify will launch three new Philips Hue products today: in-wall Hue modules for existing lighting switches, new outdoor light bars and sophisticated dimmers.
The Philips Hue wall switch module solves the long-standing problems encountered by Hue smart light owners. That is, you install a so-called “smart” Hue bulb into a lamp or ceiling fixture, and then you are surprised to find that you can control it with your phone until your roommate flips the wall switch and cuts off the power to the bulb, rendering the expensive bulb useless. According to Signify, the new wall switch module is powered by a battery with a service life of at least five years, which can place smart functions directly inside the wall, making the switch smarter. Unfortunately, the switch module cannot make conventional lighting smart, but can only control Hue smart lighting. The Hue wall switch module will be available in Europe in March this year. The price of two bottles is 39.95 US dollars / 39.95 euros, or 69.95 US dollars / 69.95 euros. It will be listed in North America this summer.
Coming soon: wall switch module! By installing this small tool behind the wall panel, any light switch becomes smart. Your smart lighting is always accessible-you can use the lighting switch to set the lighting scene you like.

Philips Hue Amarant is a light bar priced at $169.99/€149.99, which can be installed outdoors to bathe the sides of houses, hedges or fences with colored lights. Amarant measures 79.5 cm (31 inches) wide and has a maximum lumens of 1400 lumens. It requires a Hue power supply unit that can be purchased separately. Philips Hue Amarant is now available in Europe, but will not be shipped in North America until early March.
Finally, the Philips Hue magnetic dimmer switch has been upgraded, with a removable wall panel, allowing your family and guests to control Hue lighting without application. Unlike the new in-wall module, the dimmer is an artificial wall switch that can be taped to any wall. At least in Europe, the price of the new dimmer is slightly lower than the original dimmer. It will be available in Europe on January 26 for 19.99 euros, and then on February 23 in North America for 24.99 US dollars.
