The Prairie of Joy (WKOW)-After the vaccination is approved, Wisconsin will pass the COVID-19 vaccine distribution process.
Pfizer said that some of the vaccines will be delivered from Pleasant Prairie near Kenosha.
The village chief said that the pharmaceutical giant contacted the company’s distribution center in the pleasant grassland for more than ten years.
Nathan Thiel said: “We need to work through building permits. We need to make sure that the building is ready and can handle vaccines. We are excited. We are very happy to be the solution to the national pandemic. Part of the solution.”
A Pfizer spokesperson told our Milwaukee branch WISN that they are working to modify one of the facilities, install equipment and hire more employees.
The company expects to add approximately 150 employees.
Most vaccines will be distributed at Pfizer’s main location in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
