Officials said that some people looking for a COVID-19 vaccine in Dorchester on Monday were able to get the vaccine even if they did not meet the state’s eligibility requirements.
According to a statement from the Boston Medical Center, which is operated by the Boston Medical Center in cooperation with local partners, the Vaccination Clinic in Russell Auditorium began to vaccinate people 18 years and older due to errors in its pre-registration process.
BMC said in a statement: “The clinic has stopped vaccinations for this age group and we will comply with state guidelines until fully qualified later this month.”
