Just like Xiaomi’s products, OnePlus Band is equipped with a 1.1-inch color AMOLED display with a silicone strap. The screen has a resolution of 126 x 294 pixels and provides 100% P3 wide color gamut coverage. In terms of sensors, OnePlus Band is equipped with an optical heart rate sensor, 3-axis accelerometer, gyroscope and Spo2 sensor. Equipped with these sensors, the bracelet can count your steps and calories burned, monitor your heart rate, track sleep and measure blood oxygen levels. Support 13 sports modes, including outdoor running, indoor running, fat running, outdoor walking, cycling, rowing, swimming, yoga and cricket.

Other notable features of the OnePlus Band include notification support, music playback controls, synchronization with the Zen Mode of certain OnePlus phones, “Find My Phone” and the ability to mute or reject incoming calls. The tracker has passed the IP68 dust-proof and waterproof certification, so it can also be used in intensive training and swimming competitions.

The OnePlus band can run on Bluetooth 5.0 (low energy consumption) and is equipped with a 100 mAh battery, which is said to last for 14 days on a single charge. Charging is done through a USB-A powered dongle. The advantage is that you don’t have to remove the capsule from the strap.

The band needs to be paired with the companion OnePlus Health app, and you can download the band on any smartphone running Android 6.0 and higher. In addition to providing detailed classification of the various data collected from the tracker, the app also allows you to customize the surface and control other functions.

Pricing and Availability

The band has three colors: black, navy blue and orange gray. It is priced at Rs 2499 (approximately US$34) and will be available on Amazon India, Flipkart and OnePlus India websites and offline locations on January 13, 2021. The orange-grey and navy blue two-tone straps will be sold separately at Rs 399 each. Early access sales for Red Cable Club members will begin at 9 a.m. on January 12, 2021 (US Standard Time).
