The OnePlus 6 is finally official and in India it should be on the market. Before the launch, OnePlus spiced up the smartphone with the slogan "The Speed You Need". Now Samsung has made a subtle dig on OnePlus with its marketing slogan "More than just speed". But wait, Samsung is not talking about its latest Galaxy S9 flagship smartphones, but it highlights last year's Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy A8 + (2018), which was launched earlier this year. The OnePlus 6 has a 6.28 Inch Full HD + display with a resolution of 2,280 × 1,080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19: 9 and a notch on the top. The Galaxy S8, on the other hand, features a 5.8-inch QHD + display with a resolution of 2,960 × 1,440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.5: 9.
Chipset, RAM and Memory
OnePlus 6 comes with the latest Snapdragon 845 Octa-Core SoC paired with 6GB of RAM with 64GB of memory, more variants with 8GB of RAM with 128GB of memory and 256GB of memory are also available, unfortunately there is no option to upgrade the memory
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is paired by an Exynos 8895 Octa-Core SoC With 4GB of RAM and 64GB Memory is also an option for further memory expansion via a microSD card available, but because it is a hybrid SIM slot, you can either use two SIM cards or a SIM and a microSD card.
Dual cameras are a big hit today, and the OnePlus 6 has a dual rear camera configuration. One is a 16-megapixel main sensor and another is a 20-megapixel sensor that lets you add depth effects to your photos, plus a 2x optical lossless zoom. In front there is a 16 megapixel camera for selfies and video telephony.
The Galaxy S8, however, only comes with a single rear-view camera with 12-megapixel resolution and aperture 1 / 1.7. Front, is an 8 megapixel autofocus sensor for selfies and video calls.
Battery and connectivity
For this to work, the OnePlus 6 comes with a 3.300mAh battery with support for charging the Dash. The Galaxy S8, however, comes with a battery of 3,000 mAh, which allows both fast charging and fast wireless charging.
Both smartphones feature dual SIM card slots, 4G LTE with VoLTE connectivity, GPS and Bluetooth Both smartphones come with a USB Type C port for charging and data transfer.
