OnePlus will present its new flagship, the OnePlus 6, in London on 16 May. While we wait for it, let's take a look at the CAD renderings that have just surfaced. These renderers do not surprise anyone, as the device has leaked a few times while OnePlus has also released a few teasers revealing parts of the phone's design along the way.
As you can see, the OnePlus 6 will be made of metal and glass while its back will be curved. The device will contain two cameras on the back, and these two cameras will not flush with the back of the phone, they will protrude slightly. Directly under the cameras is a dual LED flash and a fingerprint scanner. The OnePlus logo will also be engraved on the back of the phone, while a display notch will also be part of the package. A thin "chin" appears under the phone's display, and these images also show us the setup of the OnePlus 6 on the bottom. Like its predecessor, the device will include a Type-C USB connector, a speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom. On the right side of the device is an on / off key. Also on this page is a warning slider, which is the first time a OnePlus device ships with a right-pointing alert slider. Volume controls and volume controls are located on the left side of the phone, along with a SIM card slot.
Now, OnePlus has already confirmed that the device will carry a display notch and that it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 845's 64-bit octa-core SoC. The company also confirmed that the phone will receive IP certification for water and dust resistance. This is a first for one of the smartphones from OnePlus. The most powerful version of the device will offer 8GB of RAM and 256GB of native storage, which the company has confirmed, but a 6GB RAM model will also be available. The unit will certainly have a 6.28-inch FullHD + AMOLED display, while the OnePlus Dash Charge quick charger will also be part of the package. Android 8.1
