Five people were found dead in a house on Marshall Road in Stone Mountain on Wednesday afternoon in York County, South Carolina.
The York County Coroner’s Office responded to a warehouse in a house where many people died.
Officials said that residents of the home of Dr. Robert Leatherly and his wife Barbara Leatherly were found dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

The fifth victim was found outside the house. Officials identified him as James Lewis of Gastonia. He was working at home when the incident happened.
Authorities say they have identified the suspect in the shooting. They found him in a nearby house.
The detective was in the area where the search warrant was provided. There is no positive threat to the community.
The delegates stated that they were called at about 4:45 pm to report that the shooting involved multiple people in a house on Marshall Road.
Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over the area, and two medical helicopters and an ambulance could be seen responding to the scene, and then the representatives asked our Chopper to come down.
Shortly after the shooting, the York County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that detectives were looking for a man wearing a black hoodie and camouflage pants. This was the last time anyone had been seen in the area. Officials said he may be armed and dangerous, and residents should lock the door and stay indoors.
